About Me

Bienvenidos!

Hi everyone! My name is Luis and welcome to my website. My Photo Luis

I am a certifIed PADI Dive Master and also hold a Red Cross certification in openwater rescue. I also like extreme water boardsports (windsurfing, kitesurfing, bodyboarding, etc), but I have to say that my favorite activity on the water, by far, is surfing. My experience both in surfing and diving have, inevitably, led me to deal with challenging situations that, had it not been for  my trainning,  could’ve resulted in serious injury to my person and, worse yet, to others.

Massive Shorebreak…
My intent…

I have created this webiste for fellow watermen who not only share a deep connection with the ocean, but who also seek advice and council for safe practice of their favorite open-water sport. In the following pages you will also find reviews, articles and videos which hopefully will be of use to you, on activities and  products which are directly involved with water boardsports in general, always with safe-practice in mind.

A bit of my history…

Surfing has been a big part of my life since I was 10 years old, first in Puerto Rico and then later on, during my adolescent and adult years, in Mexico. You have heard of these legendary surfbreaks located on our Pacific Coast: Puerto Escondido, San Pancho, Nexpa, La Tikla, Pascuales and Punta de Mita, among many, many more. Some are more remote than others; all of them demand respect.

Remote and Heavy!

SCUBA Diving is my second passion and if you have heard about diving in paradise, then let me assure you that Cancun, Cozumel and Riviera Maya (where I currently live) really make good on their promise. Whether above or below, mexican coasts offer incredible opportunities to those willing to explore its vast territory. And doing so safely can only add to the experience.

Hopefully, I can be of great help to you. We have the same goal in mind. Safe-practice and enjoyment of the sports that we so dearly love.I will try my best to update the site regularly so please do visit it for more tips and info.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to visit my site. If you have questions about any safety issues, or want discuss about a certain product, or simply wish to share some of your experiences practicing your favorite boardsport, I would be more than happy to connect. Simply leave a comment below and I will contact you shortly.

Yours,

Luis
